Ed ecco resuscitato il giusto thread (PS Mods, ho usato la funzione "cerca" con la parola "heresy", in questa sezione, ma non dà risultati perché poi usa la parola "+heresy". Non ho capito quel "+"...)

At last the Dragon is finished. It took almost two years but Andy slaved and pushed through the mental walls. He sculpted thousands of individual scales over and over again as changes and improvments were layered one over the other. At tiems he felt like giving up and clawing his own eyes out to make sure he would never have to face looking at the Dragon again. But in the end, he triumphed.

As of November 19th 2010, the Dragon is in the hands of the talented Mr Ian Brumby of Fenris Games, awaiting moulding and casting in resin. The wings are so thin and large that it requires specialist rigid rubber moulds and expensive resin materials that can deliver quality and strudiness to this most technically tricky area. But in the next fortnight or so, the first test castings will be in the hands of us here at Heresy. At last.

All the dragons we produce will be sent out to customers on a first-come, first-served basis, with those of you who have paid for your Dragons in full being sent them in order of date final payment was made.

At the time of writing it is expected that it will take at least two months just tofill the initial waiting list of 82 dragons, so when you pay for your Dragon please expect to be waiting several weeks before you receive it. We will inform you by email when your dragon has been posted.

All the Dragons will be despatched by the most secure method available to your country. For those who have already paid in full before postage costs were known, you will be invoiced for the shipping costs when your Dragon is ready to be posted.

The price of the Dragon reflects not just the size and quliaty of the sculpt, but also the difficulty involved in casting it and the cost of the continual replacement of the rubber moulds etc as well as paying for the expertise of Mr Brumby who will be casting it on a full-time basis in a lonely workshop in Kent. Ignore online idiots who will tell you on some gaming forum that thier mate could cast it for £30 and a bucket of Fizzy Cola Bottles. Those people have LITERALLY no idea what they're talking about.

Se ne parlava giusto poco tempo fa
E' sicuramente un pezzo che ogni amante dei draghi dovrebbe avere a mio avviso. C'è voluto parecchio tempo (lo seguo più o meno dall'inizio della creazione) ma alla fine è giunto al termine.

Il prezzo è sicuramente alto, ma non eccessivo se si valutano le dimensioni e i suoi "concorrenti". Se consideriamo che il Fire Dragon Forgeworld costa 140£ e il Chaos Dragon 200£, questo è in linea, essendo leggermente più grosso e decisamente più dettagliato e accattivante.

Per il momento dubito che lo acquisterò, un po' per via del prezzo che sicuramente frena l'acquisto compulsivo ( ), un po' perchè un modello del genere non merita di stare in una scatola smontato o in una vetrina solo montato, e dipingerlo vuol dire impiegare una notevole quantità di tempo e impegno. Per l'appunto, ho già il Fire Dragon FW che mi chiama dalla vetrina da un po' di anni uno alla volta eheh

In ogni caso, fino all'uscita di nuovi modelli, credo che per questa scala sia davvero il miglior Drago in circolazione.
